A model cel from the Don Bluth Studios animated film "The Secret of NIMH" (1982). Featuring a close up of Jeremy’s beak and the blue rope he gets tangled in, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The model cel is used as a reference for the animators to ensure character consistency throughout production. Included is a Xerox model drawing with hand coloring and color callouts. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9"x12.5", the cel is in fine condition. The cel is paired with a color printed reproduction background for presentation purposes.
